In science today we researched and presented our findings about reversible changes. Each group looked at a different material and then discussed their findings. Great presenting and listening skills were used! #MRPALearning#MRPAScience@MRPA_Science
Can we work out what food is in the tins by seeing how they roll?
Yes we can! We had an 80% accuracy! It wasn’t nice opening the dog food to check though!
In STEM club we investigated different ways to make teabags. We thought the tissue paper would be best but it was the worst. The paper towel was the best as it was porous.
In science today, we looked at mechanisms such as pulleys, levers and gears. We used cups, straws, string and bobbins to create a makeshift pulley. We discussed how a mechanism uses a smaller force to create a greater effect. #MRPALearning#MRPAScience@MRPA_Science ⚙️🚠🎚️
In science this week we finished our forces topic by investigating air resistance. We created miniature parachutes and found that larger parachutes (larger surface area) were the slowest due to having more air resistance! 🪂 #MRPALearning#MRPAScience@MRPA_Science
