It was a pleasure to host the Secretariat of the Association of Technical Universities and Polytechnics in Africa (ATUPA) in preparation for Kenya’s hosting of the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics (WFCP) Conference scheduled for 23rd–27th November 2026.
Following a competitive bid process through ATUPA, Kenya will host this prestigious global conference for the first time in Africa a landmark achievement that underscores the country’s growing leadership in TVET. With participation from 17 member countries the conference reflects strong international confidence in Kenya’s skills development agenda.
The Cabinet Secretary for Education has reaffirmed Government commitment to hosting a conference of global significance. Kenya stands ready to host with excellence and to elevate Africa’s voice in shaping the future of TVET and workforce development.
