@centristjim1@gangleman@alex_crook@talkSPORT I think this is the first season we can say that it’s properly Ralph’s squad. Before he has been working with the remnants of Puel, Pellergrino and Hughes. If anything, I think it’s a miracle he’s kept us so competitive with the squad he has.
@centristjim1@gangleman@alex_crook@talkSPORT Plenty of clubs manage it. Even if it wasn’t sustainable, what other options do we have apart from find a billionaire owner who actually has money?
@centristjim1@gangleman@alex_crook@talkSPORT Our whole model relies on being able to buy/develop players on the cheap and sell for big profits. Hoedt, Lemina, Elyonoussi, Boufal, Carrillo etc have all come in for relatively big fees and big wages and we’ve had to resort to loaning them out. Our strategy failed under Reed.
@centristjim1@gangleman@alex_crook@talkSPORT We don’t make enough revenue. That’s our problem. Can’t increase wage Bill further without causing huge problems. Hence why we’ve been hamstrung recently with so
many of our big earners (Hoedt, Lemina, Forster etc.) failing to produce on the pitch.
@Edit_Kev@JakeJackmann@NUFCblogcouk Don’t think he could even if he wanted to. Chinese government won’t allow it. I suppose it’s what happens when you allow someone convicted of corruption but your club!
