@JamesHumbers “Production”, “songwriting” and “improvisation” is all composition. Why is it a problem? If we define composition as the process of creating music, then what do each of those categories add that isn’t encompassed in the term “composition”. To expand the existing is surely better.

Additionally, with study of the concepts, it provides students with a vast vocabulary helpful in many situation
