@kristinaennis@tylerlang44 I was asked by someone in Virginia if anyone still spoke Finnish here, because they actually thought it was New Finland. lol
@djlato66@cafveteran I'm interested in how $1.11US isn't approximately $1.55 Canadian at an exchange rate of 0.72, which is what it was at the time. 3.785l/ US G.
@cafveteran Exchange rate is a little better now. No issues at the border in either direction and American people in general are friendly and I like them a lot.
@cafveteran I was in central Florida in April and everything in the grocery stores except milk and booze was about the same price in USD as it was in CAD in St. John's. Gas was $4.20/G which was ~$1.55CAD/l, so slightly cheaper, not even close to half (~$1.80/l at the time here).
@stayfreeCanada2 Meanwhile in the real world, the number is about 5 million and Canada is still 70% white and anywhere outside of major cities is even more white than that.
@sherriontherock@drjwlawson@TurnLeftElise I was gonna say, I can't see them getting crunchier than they already are. Will have to try this. For science, of course. ;-)
