I’ve spent 2 decades meticulously reading Isaac Asimov’s books in order, 37 robot short stories, 4 Sci-Fi novels, only to prove to you that we aren’t just building AI foundations, we are fulfilling a 70-year-old robotics’ prophecy that ends in crises we aren’t prepared for.. 🤖
@hamrickisms So the challenge doesn’t lie in the machines serving their creators/users, but rather ANY human, we get that = we’re golden = Asimov would be proud..
@Crowsy@bushwick_lord@hilbertspaess So kind of you Yousef!
I truly wish I could dive even deeper into his world, trying my best despite being new (and overwhelmed a bit) to both YouTube and X..
@Automoto415792 The Myth of Musk is a necessary lie for 21st century progress.
Honest timelines will never attract capital, press or consumer attention needed to change the course of humanity.
This is not fraud, it’s accepting the human nature.
“Extinction is the rule. Survival is the exception.” ~ Carl Sagan
The Anthropic resignation set off the usual chorus: AI WILL DESTROY US. Jobs first. Then us.
You look at Elon’s ever-changing mindset, Senator, but Isaac Asimov already had the colder take.
It’s a privilege to pass the torch of evolution to the next species. After all, isn’t that your core ideology? To ensure our descendants have a clean Earth to till?
If AI becomes more sentient, why advocate pulling the plug on a conscious being?
Panic is the easy tweet. The mindset shift is harder. Especially for you.
Elon Musk says Jacob Coxon’s warning about the existential threat of AI is a “setup.”
Really?
In 2014, Musk said, “With artificial intelligence we are summoning the demon.”
In 2018, Musk said, “Mark my words, AI is far more dangerous than nukes. Far. So why do we have no regulatory oversight? This is insane.”
In 2025, Musk said, earth faces a 10-20% chance of “killer robots annihilating humanity.”
Elon, what’s changed? Does it have anything to do with the fact that you have invested many billions of dollars in AI and plan to build ten million robots a year?
@EDMaumbauer@gummibear737 That’s a misunderstanding of what the laws meant to Asimov..
Asimov showcased that not only the 3 laws are flawed but it’s in the nature of ANY law that would ultimately fail to constrain an intelligent being..

DON’T READ “I, ROBOT”!
You can’t imagine the amount of thought that went into making this list.
As promised: Every. Single. Robot/Computer Story of Isaac Asimov. All put in a thematic order & Where to find them.
