@Marion436842126 Thank you for all you’ve done Marion. I’ve enjoyed reading your posts over the years and have learnt a lot. Hope your own health improves with some rest. Go well 🙏
@benjamincowen Been following @JeffSnider_AIP and @LynAldenContact. They have many views in common and some significant points of difference. Have learnt loads from Jeff’s understanding of the Eurodollar system.
@jordanbpeterson Not decoupling from US$ or shadow Eurodollar any time soon… (HT @JeffSnider_AIP) even with dysfunctional Eurodollar system since 2008! Still big demand for US$ around the 🌍.
Money has to be elastic
There are times of stress when you need money not to be tight
Too many folk have been crucified on the cross of hard money dogma
Invest in hard, scarce assets by all means to protect your wealth but don't use it as a monetary system
Cows raised sustainably are not bad for the environment. The methane they emit is part of the natural carbon cycle.
Transportation, industry, and fossil fuels are all 10x worse offenders according to the EPA, and are not a part of the natural carbon cycle.
From an old episode on @TheMinimalists
@GadSaad Great idea Dr Saad… reminds me of this from CSL 'Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive… those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.’
@benjamincowen ‘Inflation’ might not come down that quickly, but there are warning signs ⚠️ screaming that Powell’s gonna pivot soon (yield curve inversions et al)… banking/credit crisis could be a reason to pivot…

There is no chance the USA will stop being the global superpower.
And the best country for opportunity.
The reason surprised me:

@SantiagoAuFund This raises a question I’ve been thinking about… do we want/need elasticity in money supply(Euro$)? I think yes absolutely … One reason for current woes seems dysfunctional Eurodollars/scarce collateral... Bitcoin can store value, but inelasticity can lead to hoarding.
