Meet the Mroczka/Mosco family. A family making an impact in computer science (CS) education. With a family so passionate about CS, it would only make sense for them to instill that passion in others. That is how they all ended up supporting Melanie, at New Haven High School.
Learning! Growing! Shining! Enjoying the CS for Michigan Leadership Conference and the fact that New Haven was the one district highlighted for our work on our computer science program.

I started asking my 12 year old son βwho did you help today?β instead of asking βhow was school?β.
He now starts his stories with βI held the doorβ, βhelped a friend with mathβ, or βasked someone to sit with us at lunchβ.
He now proactively shares how he was helpful at school.
@JohnLegere Going into my 18th year of teaching. First time posting a classroom wishlist. This is truly a dream list. https://t.co/LtYg5CwhTU
Maybe I'll get a dream come true!π€ #JohnClearMyList π€
@edmentum Be consistent. They may act like they don't like it, but students crave consistency that they can depend on, especially when they may not be getting it at home.
@SavvasLearning@StaplesStores In my class we go through a LOT of white board markers because we use them as alternative communication in the ASL classes.
@SavvasLearning I would love to have my programming students use it to apply the skills they learn in class and have something tangible to take home to show off their learning.
@SavvasLearning @Tandem_Coffee I drink my coffee anyway I can get it: hot, iced, frozen, lukewarm after an hour of straight teaching a nd working with students, with flavored cream, double double, or black. β
@SavvasLearning@GoogleForEdu I color code and use emojis when naming my topics in Google Classroom to help with organization of make it easier for students to find things.
