A mom says her sister came over and got her kids sick and now she is supposed to get on a plane to go on vacation tomorrow and doesn’t know what to do.

And the entire world on FB just hits her up with comments like “it’s just a cough” while rocking onion socks, slamming honey like it’s tequila shots,
and screaming “GIRL YOU BETTER BE ON THAT PLANE!!!”

She got the RONA and just casually out there spreading… “Oh well.” 🤷‍♀️

@AuthorialGail @minjokyoexit Yes I think of colourism/caste oppression + even how many north Indians are against South Indians because we tend to be darker/with curlier hair already present + proximity to whiteness + minority myth has helped Anti-blackness to proliferate and mesh into these foundations

@dipperdesperado This is very shoddy and underdeveloped thought but Also thinking how children replicate their experience/observations/traumas in play + how play has a social component that can reinforce things like hierarchy or stereotypes (thinking of being picked last + being put into roles)

I think we need to dispel the idea of ‘misinformation’. It creates a notion that people have been fooled.

That’s not what happened at all. They saw the truth and they did not like it, so they sought talking points to discredit the facts. It’s not misinformation. It’s propaganda.
