@WorkElizab No. Not all shelter dogs fit all families, and some families need the qualities associated with specific breeds. I've generally had a mix of both in my home. There are more than enough humans to go around. Find the dog that fits into your home. Just avoid puppy mills.

@SanAntoGuera We don't actually register for a political party in Texas. You get affiliated if & when you vote in a primary, even if you choose to vote for a party you don't support. There are 18 million registered voters in Texas. A big chunk of us dislike both parties.
