@mscrantonbsas@GmorganJr@DavidAFrench I just had a long conversation with a Christian Nationalist trying to understand their opinion and honestly this is very accurate to what their political goals were.
The White American Evangelical leaders I grew up around told me over and over again that character matters. And I believed them.
The same movement that once claimed to care deeply about morality, integrity, and family values now openly argues that cruelty, corruption, and abuse of power are acceptable—as long as they advance their right-wing political agenda and keep them in power.
A version of Christianity willing to abandon those values in exchange for political power may still use the name of Christ, but it no longer resembles the person or teachings of Jesus in any meaningful way. In fact, it’s about as anti-Christ as you can get.
"Why aren’t parents more concerned about what their children are hearing about the President’s behavior? Are moms and dads not embarrassed by what is occurring? What have we taught our boys about respecting women? What have our little girls learned about men?"
James Dobson, 1998
@jason_howerton@BobbyCa64441042 The excuses I hear fellow republicans make to elect demons in order to avoid a Democrat is kinda exhausting. Growing up I was taught that character mattered. I was taught that truth, honor, integrity, mattered. Turns out, none of that mattered at all. What matters is power.
@kc2294@StellantisNA My god, I was just reading your experience with @Stellantis and it’s absolutely crazy what they are putting you through. There should be a class action lawsuit for this crap. It’s unconscionable.
@StellantisNA I’m baffled by how truly horrifying your customer service is. You have a recall on EV Jeeps that keep bursting into flames and won’t cover a rental while the recall is in a month long process of performing the warranty? I’m never buying a Stellantis product again.
@kc2294@StellantisNA It’s extremely frustrating and I’m so sorry you’re going through the same thing. I got a rental out of pocket for a week but couldn’t afford it for the remainder of the month. $1800 out of pocket for a rental car just isn’t in my budget while also paying my lease.
@StellantisNA Following up on this for the general public. They strung me along for over a week only to relay the same message I had already received : @Stellantis policy is that they do not provide a rental car while a recall is being performed. Only reimbursement up to a month afterwards.
@eightsleep BUYER BEWARE: My tower completely bricked after a software update just out of the warranty period. Eight Sleep offered to sell me a new tower for $800 with no option for repair. Their business model is planned failure and replacement. Don’t fall for the hype. Terrible company
@StellantisNA Day 6 without a rental car and I still don’t have my jeep back from the recall. It’s absolutely incredible to me that @Stellantis thinks this is good customer service. Buyer and leasee beware, this company does not care about their customers and will strand you.
@CBSNews would you be interested in a story about @StellantisNA asking their customers to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket every month while also paying their expensive car payments to rent a car while their EVs are under a mandatory recall for risk of fire and explosion?
@FoxNews would you be interested in a story about @StellantisNA asking their customers to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket every month while also paying their expensive car payments to rent a car while their EVs are under a mandatory recall for risk of fire and explosion?
@NBCNews would you be interested in a story about @StellantisNA asking their customers to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket every month while also paying their expensive car payments to rent a car while their EVs are under a mandatory recall for risk of fire and explosion?
@ABC would you be interested in a story about @StellantisNA asking their customers to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket every month while also paying their expensive car payments to rent a car while their EVs are under a mandatory recall for risk of fire and explosion?
@StellantisNA@Stellantis worst cust. service I have ever experienced. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid purchasing a car from them unless you want to pay for both a daily rental car AND your car payment for a car that can’t be driven lest it burst into flames. Stellantis sucks
@StellantisNA Ok, so now I am stranded with no vehicle for foreseeable future. I have no idea how I’m going to get to my job, get food, etc. Stellantis still wants their lease payment. If I pay for a vehicle I can’t drive, isn’t that a breach of contract? Maybe I need to dig into that.
@StellantisNA This is a mandatory recall by the way because their EVs keep bursting into flames and they are telling customers not to charge their EV or park inside before the recall is performed. So a mandatory recall is required but absolutely zero customer support while they strand us. Nice
@StellantisNA@StellantisNA still hasn’t followed up on this. I will be stranded with no vehicle for the next 6-8 weeks despite paying $640 a month for a useless vehicle while it’s undergoing an under warranty EV battery recall. Make it make sense how you don’t provide a rental! Shitty company
@StellantisNA If you intend to help, it would be very much appreciated if you would do it today before 5pm PST as I will have to return the rental I had this week and will have no vehicle at all after this point.
