@dancinsartorius Hey Val, I did a lot of ROM in clinic too! It wasn’t so easy to remember all of the landmarks and normal values. definitely need some practice! #CCIVc2023
@mkaiserSPT Hey Makenzi, I can imagine this is hard! Throughout neuro, we learn about techniques, but in the moment it would be so much harder to come up with a technique on the spot that’s effective. #CCIVc2023
@cbautista94 Hey Carlos, I definitely understand this struggle! Working with pediatric patients and a lot of ESL patients, it’s difficult to know how much they understand throughout our session.
I found myself struggling in clinic most by trying to figure out how to take a history with pediatric patients- it’s difficult to know what questions to ask and when to turn to the parent! #CCIVc2023
@FerDom_20 I thought the same thing with my CI! Working in peds, my CI has seen these patients since they were born and know exactly how to cheer them up and work with them. I also hope to learn a lot from my CI about professionalism, family education, and building rapport! #CCIV2023
@rohman_trey This is so interesting! I am potentially interested in cardiopulmonary PT and would love to hear more about your setting and experience! #CCIV2023
@ArielDaviss I think this is so cool! My outpatient setting is within a hospital, so we got to collaborate with physicians and other healthcare workers too to provide the best care to our patients! #CCIV2023
I was most surprised in clinic by how much thought and creativity goes into working on head control, trunk stability, and motor learning with peds patients! #CCIV2023
