On June 23, 2026, 36-year-old nurse Allie Hummel was found dead inside her Missouri home. The 911 call came from her husband, Dr. Andrew Hummel, an anesthesiologist, who told authorities he woke up and found Allie unresponsive. But for Allie’s family, his explanation raised immediate questions. Just three months earlier, Andrew Hummel was convicted of assault after strangling Allie in July 2025.

Now, both her family and investigators are waiting for autopsy and toxicology results to come back any day now as they continue to investigate her death.

“Omaha Police responded to 67th & Pacific St. for an accident shortly after 3:30 p.m.The roadway collapsed, and two vehicles fell into a sinkhole just east of the intersection. No injuries were reported. The driver of the truck was able to get himself out of the sinkhole. Bystanders and the truck driver helped the SUV driver out of the sinkhole. Both vehicles have since been towed.

The video shows not only the road collapsing, but also bystanders rushing to aid the drivers involved. We are grateful to them for jumping into action and quickly providing help.”
