BREAKING: Preliminary findings from the independent autopsy of Nolan Wells show cause of death is undetermined and manner of death undetermined - both pending investigation.
This autopsy was pursued by Nolan's family and their attorney Ben Crump to fully investigate his death after a July 4th boat trip in Mississippi.
Crump says they are still taking tips and info from those who have seen or know anything more.
On June 23, 2026, 36-year-old nurse Allie Hummel was found dead inside her Missouri home. The 911 call came from her husband, Dr. Andrew Hummel, an anesthesiologist, who told authorities he woke up and found Allie unresponsive. But for Allie’s family, his explanation raised immediate questions. Just three months earlier, Andrew Hummel was convicted of assault after strangling Allie in July 2025.
Now, both her family and investigators are waiting for autopsy and toxicology results to come back any day now as they continue to investigate her death.

In the late hours of June 25, 2024, a deputy with the Otero County Sheriff’s Office responded to what should have been a routine welfare check along U.S. Highway 70 near Mescalero, New Mexico. The person walking alone was 17-year-old Elijah Hadley. Within minutes, Elijah was dead.
The entire encounter was captured on law enforcement cameras, and today, the deputy involved is awaiting trial slated to begin in August for first-degree murder.

Two days ago I sat down with @TVAshleigh to discuss the Guthrie ransom notes as someone who has read the first two.
In light of all the “are they real, are they not” it was really nice to have an educated convo about what’s known about them

JUST IN: FBI Phoenix has put out a statement pushing back on claims made by Reuters that all Nancy Guthrie ransom notes are bogus.
Some “ransom demands may potentially be legitimate and are still being investigated as such.”
@FBIPhoenix
I re-asked the Pima Co. Sheriff’s Dept about the fake ransom note claim after FBI Dir. Kash Patel seemingly directed things back to them as the lead agency.
PCSD’s response: “We do not have any additional information to provide.”
Kash Patel says he’s “not going to comment” on the report that the Guthrie ransom notes are fake and says they’re still assisting the investigation.
He reiterates the state is leading this investigation: which is the Pima County Sheriff’s Dept.

@reggsum One could assume that, but it may be more so they don’t want official comment out one way or another to not compromise the investigation depending on what’s happening behind the scenes.
By now you have probably seen the report from Reuters claiming an anonymous FBI official said all ransom notes in the Guthrie case are fake/bogus.
The FBI has not officially commented on this - we are waiting for response on whether they can confirm or deny or make any statement.
I want to keep reporting responsible - so at this point I am treating that as a possibility, but will update with anything we learn officially if and when we get a response.
A South Carolina judge tentatively set Alex Murdaugh’s new double murder trial date for April 5th, 2027.
At the pretrial hearing today, the defense said they’re working on getting DNA found under Maggie Murdaugh’s fingernails tested with genetic genealogy. They say it’s an unknown profile that doesn’t match Alex.
Alex Murdaugh’s conviction in the murders if his wife Maggie and son Paul were overturned due to court clerk misconduct.
@loutchanin8752@Lindahe53 My former station is also reporting the exact same things I am. They have the note. I can guarantee none of us would report anything other than what we can see/read in it.
