The downfall of empires isn't sudden, it's rot, slow and unseen until the structure collapses. America isn't collapsing; it's already collapsed. What you see now is just inertia, held together by illusions and duct tape.
Smoking crack doesn't make you a bad person.
Hiring prostitutes doesn't make you a bad person.
Drunk texting women doesn't make you a bad person.
Raping defenseless children with Jeffrey Epstein makes you a bad person.
Hope this clears things up.
@Raffiatim@remarks It would be better. BUT I would put them in space, free energy and super cooling. The haste would indicate to my suspicious mind that there is something else going on that we aren't being told.
Imagine you've been goyslopped with no fact checking for 50 fucking years.
Literally given one side of a completely made up story every day for 50 fucking years.
That's why boomers love Israel and theft.
It is truly EYE-OPENING to talk to Iranians and get their point of view:
.
IRANIANS: You murdered Qasem Soleimani.
U.S./ ISRAEL: We don’t believe in international law.
IRANIANS: You bombed our peace talks in Qatar.
U.S./ ISRAEL: We don’t believe in international law.
IRANIANS: You murdered our govt members and their spouses and children.
U.S./ ISRAEL: We don’t believe in international law.
IRANIANS: You stole our ships and everything in them.
U.S./ ISRAEL: We don’t believe in international law.
IRANIANS: You made an unprovoked attack which killed more than 100 school kids.
U.S./ ISRAEL: We don’t believe in international law.
IRANIANS: We’re going to charge shipping fees so we can rebuild what you destroyed.
U.S./ ISRAEL: YOU CAN’T DO THAT! INTERNATIONAL LAW!!!!
One of the main problems Americans face as the Empire declines is that we are ruled by grifters and idiots. When the British Empire fell, it slowly disengaged with its more imperialist impulses. The American Empire, on the other hand, has both of its political parties ramping up the nation's militarism, and as a result is inflicting massive suffering on the global populace as it falls.
Dr. Muhammad Mashali, lovingly known across Egypt as “The Doctor of the Poor,” never owned a car or a cellphone. He lived without luxury, but spent over 50 years quietly healing thousands of lives.
Every day, he walked the streets of Tanta in Egypt’s Nile Delta to his modest clinic, where patients, rich or poor, were always welcome. Many paid nothing. Some days he treated 40 to 50 people, often covering the cost of their medicine himself.
After graduating with honors in 1967, he made a solemn vow: he would never turn away anyone who couldn’t afford treatment, a promise inspired by watching his father sacrifice everything for his education.
“My reward is not money,” he once said, “it’s the smile of someone whose suffering has ended.”
When a wealthy businessman once gifted him $20,000, a car, and an apartment, Dr. Mashali sold it all and used every penny to buy medical equipment for his patients.
He treated everyone with equal dignity, regardless of religion, status, or background. For more than ten hours a day, he offered not just medicine, but compassion and hope.
Dr. Muhammad Mashali passed away in 2020 at the age of 76, leaving behind no wealth, no grand possessions, only a profound legacy of kindness.
Meanwhile on Chinese TV: "I visited California in the 80s. They were promising high-speed rail. China didn't even have highways."
40 years later, they have built zero. China: biggest high speed rail network.
"The superiority of socialism is clear."
@Gregatnelson@JoeVargas I like people who embrace their vices with humility, honesty and a sense of humour; it makes it impossible to blackmail them. I have an entirely new perspective on this guy.
being neurodivergent is having the vision of a CEO, the emotional depth of a poet, and the executive function of a walmart shopping cart with one fucked up wheel that squeaks.
“We are now 716 days into a genocide and yet Israel are allowed to participate in footfall tournaments.
WHY ARE THERE DOUBLE STANDARDS!!!”
-Eric Cantona
@PureDemocracyNZ@ZealandEarly nah, for evil to succeed, they only need to buy a few politicians. Your head must be up your ass if you can't see what people like Luxon and Trump are doing, or are they the "good" people?
