If a government resorts to coercion to win a vote it cannot claim to have the confidence of the Commons. The reports suggest a serious threat to democracy occurred with MPs not being allowed to vote with their own free will but were threatened, intimidated and possibly assaulted.

@briefforhire We have been advised by the Crown Office that the title Queen's Counsel (QC) changes to King's Counsel (KC) with immediate effect. The change is automatic so there are no new Letters Patent.
@Kathbum Yes - the owner or management company of the building can charge the leaseholder of each flat for the upkeep of all the common parts. You’d hope the regular service/maintenance charges would cover the roof. I’d recommend you obtain independent legal advice to protect yourself.

@MichaelGillett Energy. If they’re kicked out of SWIFT they cant be paid for the oil/gas they provide. The consequences will be wide and unpredictable. It seems the EU resistance is to plan for that and delay rather than to not do it entirely.
