Payton Pritchard on Jaylen Brown being on the trading block:
"It’s part of the business, I guess. It’s tough. You’re going to be thrown into conversations all the time… but it’s higher than my pay grade. And whatever the team looks like next year, we’ll be ready to go." 😬

Players In NBA History To Win The Championship While Leading Their Team In PTS, REB & AST :
1. Jayson Tatum (2024)
2. Nikola Jokic (2023)
3. LeBron James (2012,2013,2016)
4. Tim Duncan (2003)
5. Hakeem Olajuwon (1994)
6. Larry Bird (1984,1986)
I don't think it's a demand because they want to trade him I think it's a "Don't even call me unless you are willing to give up the next 4 draft's". Sounds like to me he is tired of the BS offers. You want him the conversation starts at 4 first and we can go from there.
As he should, whoever trades for him is getting a finals mvp and All NBA player….anything less is a trash trade without a REALLY good young player involved
But with Lamelo’s injury history, getting all those first rounders is pretty good. I just would’ve wanted to see Charlottes young core get one legit chance and paying together in the playoffs, but maybe theyre good off Lamelo and think Miller can be their guy
BREAKING: The Charlotte Hornets are trading star guard LaMelo Ball and Josh Green to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Naz Reid, a 2033 unprotected first-round pick, three first-round pick swaps (2028, 2029, 2030) and three second-round picks (2029, 2032, 2033), sources tell ESPN.
The Timberwolves send a haul to the Hornets for a star-studded new backcourt in Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball -- the Nos. 1 and 3 picks in 2020. Charlotte didn't shop Ball in the market, but listened and received multiple rich offers before filling a significant need in the frontcourt with Reid.
Timberwolves co-owners Marc Lore and Alex Rodriguez enter the luxury tax for the third straight year -- and the franchise makes a big move to fill the point guard spot.

I’ve seen this take a lot and I don’t get the notion that Jayson Tatum should be publicly weighing in on this at all tbh
Is there even precedent for that sort of thing? It’s not like he’s even doing media availabilities
Loved this quote about Chris Cenac Jr. from Brad Stevens:
"When I watched him play live several times this year, he didn't always play well, but I never walked out of the gym thinking he didn't play hard, and he didn't really, really, really go after it, and so I think that's a good place to start."
