@Pazuzu98224 Which part is nonsensical to you? It’s mathematically impossible for there to be as many or more EV fires than gas car fires. There’s no data showing EVs catch fire at a higher rate than gas cars, so going the best we can do is go by proportions.

@Pazuzu98224 Chevrolet recalled 40k Silverado 4500/5500/6500 trucks just the other day because they might spontaneously combust. Chevrolet only sold 38,000 Bolt EVs last year (its best year), and those got recalled for spontaneously combusting, too.
