i actually trust people more with questionable pasts (case by case) cause that means they have the capacity to grow and unlearn as life goes on ✅
unlike people who always need to have a moral high ground over others and will never concede when someone does try to correct them.
whoever’s trying to get into my v*nmo account is gonna be really mad if they ever get in and see the account is suspended and i owe them like $10,000 lmao
it’s incredible the amount of people who genuinely believed the advancement of AI would lead to anything other than a complete replacement of tech jobs
the point of being a hater is having taste. For everything you hate on you must have something you just as enthusiastically recommend. Otherwise you’re a cancer upon society
This afternoon in Marble Hill, a New Yorker was shot by an ICE agent in a residential neighborhood. Early reports indicate agents surrounded him and a 5-year-old child in his car before firing multiple rounds. We believe the child was physically unharmed.
This is an unconscionable and incredibly serious situation. I have called the President; when we speak I will demand that he ends all ICE enforcement actions in our city. I will not stand by while ICE agents terrorize our communities.
Our thoughts are with the injured New Yorker and his family tonight. We are praying for his recovery.
Get ICE out of our neighborhoods. Get ICE out of our hospitals. Get ICE off our streets. Get ICE away from our children.
Abolish ICE.
This is what they say when they're scared of people learning the real definition, when they're scared of people demanding more from their government and an economy that actually works for everybody.
if i ever have to interact an AI customer service chat bot i always immediately say “lawsuit” or “police” no matter what the issue is and every time it immediately connects me to a real person lol
The worst thing about AI is that I can’t get customer service for anything anymore, the only way to reach out to a human for help involves breaking the AI chatbot first like it’s some troll at a bridge you gotta bypass
so in order to use your bank card at a dispensary, medical or recreational, it has to be run through a “cashless ATM” so your purchase isn’t immediately flagged or reversed retroactively. if they didn’t do that every dispensary would have to be cash only
i see this once a week & wish dispensary workers would explain it better. weed is still federally illegal, any bank that operates in the US has to abide by federal law, thus they’ll flag any purchase that implies their money (ur money is the banks) is being used to break the law
went to a dispensary for the 1st time & the cashier’s like “so we’re gonna charge it as an ATM & give you $5.37 cash back” so i’m looking at him like ??? what kind of racket are you guys running in here so other one go “well do u want ur bank knowing u buying weed”… i guess not?
