Market opportunity but not a single bid for Ibrahim Mbaye who’s available for like £30m.
Market opportunity but happily watched Brentford sign Mamadou Sangare one of Ligue 1’s best performers and most likely the next PL £100m sale for like £36m.
Market opportunity but Lewis Hall’s camp keep leaking “please come and get me” briefs to the media yet no negotiations.
Not saying we have had to do all of this but United are notorious for not identifying actual “market opportunities” so this becoming part of the vocab is inconceivable levels of irony.
I do not have an issue with patience, I understand it - but I do not like being reactive, rather than proactive. You can't fill the LB/CM void with one player. Manchester United always needed 3x CM's & 1x LB.
Cutting corners trims already fine margins this season. The midfield rebuild has to be finished & was already overdue. The void Casemiro left is a reminder to get a Luke Shaw replacement now, not next year.
The opportunity for what the club can achieve this season is there right now. Fans are already frustrated & don't fall for the briefs anymore. Excuses won't work.
If City sign Ayyoub Bouaddi & Enzo Fernandez, they will have signed 20 players for a whopping £849.8m since January 2025.
Not only that, somehow they manage to sell failed signings like Trafford & Reijnders for profit despite only joining a year ago.
Considering they are accused of paying players & managers off the books, it's not a stretch to believe they do the same with clubs.
This is all while they have the greatest cheating scandal in English football history hanging over them with 115/130 charges pending.
What a joke of a situation & a joke of a club.
This cadaver is one of the three individuals who has more wealth than the bottom 50% of Americans combined but still he demands his employees meet productivity quotas that force them to urinate in bottles. There is no amount of wealth this guy has accumulated which would result in him treating his employees as human beings, instead he wants them to show up to work “terrified”. These people are solipsistic freaks, they don’t see the value of anything that can’t be commoditized and sold. He isn’t buying a stake in Liverpool because he’s a fan or because he wants to hand Iraola a “war chest”, he’s buying a stake because he sees a future where Liverpool can make him money and he won’t give a single shit about anything of sentiment to the fans.
That fake smile, those fake tears, same old act every single time.
One of the worst players I’ve ever seen come through Manchester United’s academy. The theatrics are always better than the football.
A serious club would’ve had his replacement in a long time ago. Instead they’re welcoming him back as if he’s a new signing. This is why this football club doesn’t win major trophies any more.
Fucking circus #IneosOut
It feels so weird that the All Blacks are in South Africa while the Boks are in Argentina.
It's like a friend visiting your house but you're not there...
I’m sorry, but the Fletcher brothers are nowhere near the level to be getting this many minutes for United. This is pure nepotism at this point.
And yes, people are going to talk about it because people hate injustice. There are plenty of better players in the academy who deserve more opportunities.
la plupart des journalistes qui nous montraient en direct ce qu’il se passe à Gaza ont été tués par Isr*el alors qd vs tombez sur ne serait-ce qu’une seule vidéo c’est important de relayer au maximum !!!
Gaza is set to witness tomorrow what is expected to be the largest funeral in Palestinian history, as the remains of 112 victims from the Abu Sharia and Al-Hasayna families will be laid to rest. Their bodies were recovered from among the 308 people killed in the massacre carried out by the Israeli army during the genocidal war in Gaza, after having remained missing beneath the rubble.
The Two-Pot System is fascinating when you really think about it.
Government says you can’t freely access your retirement money because it must protect you from making bad financial decisions.
Fair enough. But if you’re financially desperate and withdraw the little they DO allow you to access, SARS immediately wants tax from it. So apparently you’re not responsible enough to decide what to do with your own retirement money… but you’re responsible enough to fund the state from it. Your money is protected from you, not from the taxman. That’s the part nobody talks about.
SARS takes up to 45% of what we earn, then we pay 15% VAT on almost everything we buy. Inflation eats whatever we manage to save, municipal rates & levies come for the property we already own, and fuel levies are waiting every time we fill up. At this point South Africans aren’t citizens, we’re shareholders with no dividends
🚨 BREAKING: All 41 Concacaf members have rejected Gianni Infantino's FIFA Forward Enterprise plans.
"Concacaf is a confederation united by the love of our game, where football comes first. Guided by this philosophy over the past ten years we have built, from the ground up, an organization founded on service, transparent governance, and the long-term stewardship of football.
"History has shown FIFA and the football family what happens when the custodians of the game lose sight of these values.
"With this in mind, Concacaf today convened a meeting of the presidents of its 41 Member Associations, together with its President, Council members, and its FIFA Council members, to discuss a proposal developed and presented by the FIFA President to establish ‘FIFA Forward Enterprise’ and sell interests in the FIFA World Cup to private investors.
"During the meeting, the membership expressed deep concerns about the lack of due process surrounding the proposal, the artificially short deadline imposed, and the absence of any review or approval by the relevant FIFA governance bodies. In addition, the need for private equity investment to fund new and existing FIFA Forward programs following the most profitable FIFA World Cup in history was questioned.
"The discussion reinforced the need for greater transparency and proper governance.
"For these reasons, Concacaf and its 41 Member Associations have:
'- Rejected the proposal;
- Tasked their FIFA Council Members with engaging FIFA to determine how existing FIFA reserves could be used to increase FIFA Forward funding for football development across our region; and
- Tasked their FIFA Council Members with instructing the FIFA President to ensure that any matter follows the proper governance processes via staff and FIFA Council, in accordance with the FIFA Statutes.'
"Through these actions, Concacaf reaffirms that football's future—and its greatest asset—must remain in the hands of our football family."
Right now they will have 3 potential replacements for Rodri in Nico Gonzalez, Anderson and now Bouaddi. There’s no way the three of them will fail, this is how you do squad planning.
Bruno will be 32 years this year, right now we don’t even have any one potential replacements in view not even one this summer. We’ll Cunha can play the role 😊
