@KaeKurd@demetrimitche11 If it makes you homeless/asset-less at 45 then that is a completely mad option to pick. At least you keep what you make from 16-45 if you take the 10m at 45.
@PlagueLuke@sbatte17@racingblogger Depends on how bothered you are about the racing I guess. A lot of people aren't actually bothered about the quality or how big the races are, which doesn't help.
@PlagueLuke@sbatte17@racingblogger Would it have been better if they didn't attend at all then? I get taking precautions with the weather but even with that it just makes the day miserable, not Epsom's fault.
@steveisaacs1968@ZackPolanski I still think Starmer is the best option for PM but if I was forced to choose an alternative I'd go with Burnham. Third would be Darren Jones but he's a long way away from PM material.
@steveisaacs1968@ZackPolanski I disagree that Farage is a better speaker than Starmer. Speech giver, absolutely, but PMQs? Starmer demolished Farage's behaviour on Wednesday with ease. Farage crumbles under any decent scrutiny like a petulant child.
@steveisaacs1968@ZackPolanski Can apply the same principles to Reform, agenda of hate, name calling, leader doesn't actually want to be PM, no real policy apart from stop immigration.
@simonmanto32773@AaronBastani It's more affordability than anything. Minimum wage and £5/£6 a pint or even more for a double just don't marry up. Combined with being able to buy at least 3 pints in a supermarket for the price of 1 in a pub is another huge issue.
@LiamB1875@c8nnorr 3 or 4 years ago the cost would have been about half of that. That's a ridiculous increase in cost. We're just getting used to it now which is the problem.
