Let me take this opportunity to congratulate the people of Ol Kalou and the 2 winners Samuel Muchina (UDA) and Kamau Ngotho (DCP) both of whom are incidentally my good friends. Now picture this. 32,000 out of 71,000 voters turned out in both primaries. 8000+ or 25% for UDA and 24,000 or 75% for DCP. In my predictive and analytical model which i have shared thrice in the media, William Ruto will be re-elected even without a single vote from Mt Kenya because of the Tyranny of Small Numbers vs Tyranny of Numbers. I can present this model again and again for anyone to poke holes. Now if Wiluam Ruto gets 25% vote from the Mountain ? Lets see if this improves on 16th July in Ol Kalou. Winning a battle is sweet but winning the war is even more important.

In my honest opinion it is unfair for him to ask of Douglas Kanja to be the Nyeri Inspector General of Police not one of the Republc of Kenya. And it's not one isolated case. Listening to Shiru wa GP’s account of Betty Bayo’s health decline and I learnt this: surround yourself with smart, curious, knowledgeable people - not the low-IQ Kameme/Inooro crowd like the ones Betty Bayo had surrounded herself with.

Kirinyaga, a rapidly growing agricultural town, continues to experience rising demand for decent and affordable housing as its population expands and urbanization accelerates.

To respond to this pressure, the government launched the Kirinyaga Affordable Housing Project, with the foundation stone laid by H.E. President @WilliamsRuto in June 2023.

The project is completed at 100%, making it one of the very first developments under the initial phase of the nationwide Affordable Housing Programme.

Three years into office, the projects of the President's administration are beginning to create tangible impact, with affordable housing standing out as a key pillar in transforming lives across the country.

The modern facility comprises five residential blocks: two blocks of one-bedroom units, two blocks of two-bedroom units and a block of bedsitters, alongside seven retail shops to support local enterprise and serve the residents.

However, despite its completion, occupancy has been delayed after parts of the facility sustained damages during the Gen-Z protests of June 2024.

This unfortunate setback underscores the urgent need to repair the structures and, more importantly, the collective responsibility to safeguard critical public infrastructure that serves communities.

ARREST OF ANOTHER SUSPECT IN USD 265,200 GOLD SCAM

A team of detectives from the operation support unit (OSU) have today arrested Tim Orao Shikalo, a key suspect who has long been on the police radar for his role in a sophisticated gold scam that defrauded a foreign investor of USD 265,200 (approximately KES 38 million).

His arrest marks a significant breakthrough in the ongoing investigation, following the earlier apprehension of Steve Okoth Odek (alias David Bett) on 7th December 2024, who was arraigned and charged in connection with the same fraudulent scheme.

The scam involved fake gold purchase contracts totalling over 1,080 kilograms, with false promises of secure delivery, guaranteed collateral, and fraudulent legal facilitation.

Investigations have since revealed that the purported gold was nothing more than a mixture of copper, zinc, and tin, with no trace of any precious metals.

Shikalo is currently in police custody and undergoing processing ahead of his arraignment.

Meanwhile, detectives are closing in on two additional suspects believed to be part of this elaborate criminal syndicate.
