This week, we had the pleasure of accompanying our wonderful service user, Ana, to Queens Hospital for the 'Walk the Patch' initiative. It was a fantastic opportunity to engage with the maternity ward and understand the experiences of those receiving care.
Yesterday was a great day. I went out on a floor walk with my lovely bilingual women gathering feedback from service users with language barriers in the maternity wards.
Yesterday, I participated in a Bereavement Training session conducted by SANDS. I gained a lot of knowledge, not only from the experience itself but also from listening to the stories shared by some wonderful women.
Today, we join in to celebrate a the amazing volunteers internationally but most especially our wonderful Cradling Culture volunteers who go over and beyond for BHRUT service users. We appreciate you!
Today was truly heartwarming as three secondary students joined us to read to the children during our session! And let's not forget to extend our gratitude to Vicki, our wonderful Patient Experience Coordinator, who dedicated her time to gather feedback on birthing experiences.
