In May, the temperature increased, and so did MVTA ridership!

May Highlights:
1. Systemwide ridership is up 8.3% compared to 2025 through May
2. MVTA Connect broke a single-month ridership record with 20,800 rides. This is up 19.3% from 2025.
3. Express ridership is up 10.3%

In honor of Memorial Day, MVTA buses will operate on a weekend schedule on Monday, May 25.

That means the routes that normally operate on weekends will be operating with the schedules used on weekends.
