I wouldn't want the US to have a similar agreement with any country (we don't...wonder why), does that mean I hate everyone? Bad policy is bad policy.
Espoused freedom? What a complete joke if you are from the US - lettting our county's sovereignty slip away while proving a means for backdoor / never ending funding of another country's military ambitions is the opposite of ensuring US freedom.
On a related note, perhaps you can explain why, when Israel would have to borrow $300B (with a B) to have the same debt to GDP ratio as the US, US taxpayers are borrowing money to give to them? How about this for a suggestion, Israel borrows the money (without a US backstop) and they fund themselves (after all, Netanyahu says he doesn't want or need US taxpayer (debt funded) money any more..oh yeah..
...in 10 year....or was it 20...or 30 that he said? Why not today?
@marklevinshow Traitor...yeah you, Levin
US sovereignty obviously means nothing to you and all the bought and paid for (literally) members of congress. Absolutely pathetic.
I am not a dem (it is rather embarrasing but Trump conned me into voting for him by running on the promise of no foriegn wars (it is the only reason I didn't vote 3rd party...I should have known better but Trump managed to avoid huge issues in his first term). Because he broke his commitment and you don't care that you were completely duped, doesn't mean anyone who actually cares is a lefty dem.
I guess more power to you if the 1000 or so campaign speeches of Trump calling those who get us into foreign wars stupid and promising to end the conflicts. But don't pretend that Trump didn't lie...just acknowledge that he lied (does so all the time) and that you don't care. Sadly, almost all politicians are liars...strangely, Massey is probably one with the most integrity and that is what you have a problem with.
On a tangentialybrelated note, perhaps you can confirm but I'm pretty sure Trump didn't end the Ukraine war his first week in office (thought he was stupid to claim he could do that...turns out it was a reasonable thought Ibwas having at the time).
His foreign policy is a complete train wreck (wasn't it great when his first foreign policy priority of the new term was apparently taking over Greenland...which he never mentioned during the campaign?)
I think the only thing Trump has gotten mostly right and delivered on is immigration.
And speaking of illegal (since you brought it up) - Biden and the family were totally corrupt (non-stop coverage on Fox for $50M for Hunter) but Trump and his family rake in billions and those who rightfully bashed Biden bury their heads in the sand (are you playing an ostrich too?).
I have no idea how folks can stand the cognitive dissonance that must be rattling around in their heads.
Lastly, I noticed you didn't answer my question. Perhaps you can provide a specific list about what Massie has done that is bad for the US and I'll share my list for Trump and we see whose list is longer (I am pretty sure my list will be much much longer...)
@teonnap@KweenInYellow@RepThomasMassie Why does it bother you so much that Massie is one of the few people in politics who actually has principals and acts in the best interest of the US?
If you initially knew he was being facetious, you wouldn't have started your response with "no one believes you".
@step5629@WeAreNotGTM@RepThomasMassie Exactly how many counties in OH are you suggesting Vivek cheated in to win? Just curious because itbdidn't surprise me at all ( given it was a republican primary, not the general)
“I sit on a man's back, choking him and making him carry me, and yet assure myself and others that I am very sorry for him and wish to ease his lot by all possible means - except by getting off his back.” - Tolstoy
@fallawanna@imagine Clearly clickbait for engagement. What does sex/sexual harrassment have to do with this? Spoiler alert - Nothing
If someone uses your pen without your consent, are the sexually harassing you?
@JeffersonCraigg@thehill But your mortgage is backed by an asset that the bank will take and sell to recoup their money. US Debt is backed by a promise to pay...ifnthe US can't pay they print trillions of dollars and inflation spins out of control.
He was born in the US so he didn't "assimilate" to our culture anymore than you did (assuming you were born in the US). To say such things makes you sound like a bigoted racist, which I hope you are not.
To claim he is Soros backed shows you have no idea what you are talking about and just repeating debunked talking points. Vivek has regularly denounced Soros and his policies; yes, he did get a merit based scholarship while in college 20 years ago from Paul Soros's foundation (so the brother of George); not quite a smoking gun to support a baseless claim. Just to check your mental consistency, if you are a Trump supporter, you may want to look into who provided $100M+ of funding for Trump's Chicago hotel (spoiler alert: George (not Paul) Soros).
Were you basing your statement on anything else? I am assuming the answer is no, but please share.
