During my visit to Shree Ramkrishna Exports (SRK) in Surat, I witnessed a remarkable example of how skill, discipline, values and enterprise can come together to create global excellence.

Under the visionary leadership of Shri @GovindLDholakia ji, SRK has emerged as one of India's leading diamond crafting and exporting enterprises, creating livelihood opportunities for thousands of skilled workers and showcasing the strength of Indian craftsmanship on the global stage.

What impressed me most was the culture of the organisation. With nearly 3,000 employees working in one facility and around 2,000 in another, the scale of operations is extraordinary. Equally remarkable is the sense of discipline, dedication and shared purpose that permeates the workplace.

A particularly inspiring experience was witnessing the tradition of collective morning prayer, where employees and leadership come together before the start of the workday. Such practices foster a spirit of unity, humility and commitment that extends far beyond business.

The visit reinforced an important lesson: in a skill-intensive industry such as diamond processing, it is talent, craftsmanship, precision and continuous learning that determine an individual's growth and earning potential. Here, skill is the true currency of progress.

This is the essence of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji's Skill India vision empowering individuals through skills, creating opportunities based on merit and enabling every citizen to realise their full potential.

As India moves towards the vision of Viksit Bharat, institutions like SRK demonstrate how world-class manufacturing, skilled human capital and strong cultural values can together drive inclusive growth, economic progress and nation-building.

My compliments to Shri Govind Dholakia ji and the entire SRK family for building not only a globally respected enterprise but also a workplace culture rooted in excellence, discipline and human values.
