@Manhattva@AngelStudiosInc Watched it this afternoon. Great movie- very close to 'the Patriot'. Highly recommend to all, cool to see the lessons George Washington learned.
I think that full FSD paid for cars will keep their value & even increase. Keep that if possible.
Though checkout https://t.co/Ka1UFyOWDl they frequently have cybertrucks that have FSD purchased outright, so you may find something that will keep you from the current $100 monthly, and future potential increases.
“Hence we say, that the Constitution of the United States is a glorious standard; it is founded in the wisdom of God. It is a heavenly banner; it is to all those who are privileged with the sweets of liberty, like the cooling shades and refreshing waters of a great rock in a thirsty and weary land. It is like a great tree under whose branches men from every clime can be shielded from the burning rays of the sun.”
-Joseph Smith Jr.
I wish my bank\credit company would come out with a feature for my account to enable me to stop paying for subscriptions or other repeating services from the bank side.
Then I could just go into my account and force them to stop taking my money instead of going in person, calling, emailing, or whatever arduous processes various companies push you through to cancel my payments.
I'll just cancel it on my end and it's up to them as to whether or not they keep providing the service that I'm no longer paying for or using.
If only...
Yes, His atonement is infinite.
I'm not trying to imply anything necessarily.
I just want clearer scripture or prophetic direction in actual conditions for perdition.
They may be rare, though in the numbers of tens to hundreds of billions of children, I wonder if 'rare' is more than the few people talk about from the scriptures whenever this topic comes up.
True. Thankfully.
"Too few to merit discussion" is comforting, but I've always thought it would still be nice to know.
For Williams comment, the first sentence is purely opinion, the 2nd quoting a prophet of God is worthwhile. But when there's been billions of people on this earth & who knows amongst other planets of Gods creation, I'd wonder if that number goes up proportionally.
Still, your general point of 'its hard to become a child of perdition' stands. I don't think it would be an 'accident' to become one.
I just hear people share their thoughts in 2nd hour or elsewhere all the time & can never find the claims or perspective founded in scripture or modern prophecy. Though I've check scripture much more than modern prophecy on this subject.
Latter-day saints share this concept of how hard it is to go to outer darkness frequently, but I have yet to find any scriptural references for what you've just claimed.
While D&C76 is rather enlightening, it doesn't give us specifics verses 25-38 give the most insight, but nothing you've just claimed is there.
I'm rather inclined to think that the commonly used phrase 'the spirit ceased striving within' for several book of Mormon peoples (nephites, jaradites, and lamanites all got it) may be closer to children of perdition.
Alma 39:6 gives me the impression that if we murder the light of Christ within us (which I'd say is also the spirit ceasing to strive within us) then we descend into perdition.
While I think my logic is backed up with scripture, I've yet to see any scripture clearly & explicitly say what it means to deny the holy ghost.
But your claims here aren't found anywhere in scripture, though if I'm wrong, I'll gladly study what I might have missed.
@Manhattva How so? I've been tempted to go acceleration (would never vote Democrat, but tempted to go third party). Curious to see\know your perspective.
For me it's mostly a question of 'how stupid are people'?
@VVenerabilis How so? I'd rather he fire Bondi who's been worse that completely useless & incompetent.
Noem's biggest problem is not going far enough.
That's the power of conversion. There's joy in the labor of the Lord. Joy in forgetting yourself and putting others first.
In both the New testament & the book of Mormon, I'd hope I'd be like John or the 3 nephites, so I can be in the service of the Lord for as long as possible.
Christ died and sacrificed for me. Least I can do is give my life in return.
