Okay, I had to take it all in. Today, we are living in some very dangerous times. We just witnessed a vile person with no redeeming qualities get murdered and many are mourning him like he was the Pope. He wasn't.
He was racist. He hated immigrants, transgender and women. Yet, his death was a bridge too far for some. Many yelled into their cellphones, making videos about how they were coming to take their revenge on the left.
I saw a guy in a Confederate flag cap recruiting people for mayhem against the left. Nearly every HBCU received death threats. As if a Black person had shot Charlie Kirk in one of the whitest states in America.
The craziest thing is that the killer turned out to be a white conservative. In his rush to judgment, we watched as the president of the United States condemned the left as if he knew who killed the guy. Kinda like when he blamed airplanes and helicopters crashes on DEI. Talk about dividing a nation.
Kirk said, "Civil Rights was a mistake." He said Martin Luther King Jr. didn't deserve a holiday. He said he didn't believe in empathy. He said he felt it was okay for some to die as long as the 2nd Amendment stood strong. He said a lot of things, but nothing good.
There's video after video of him spewing hate. But, people want you to believe that he was a God-fearing prophet of God. He was the exact opposite.
Currently, the air in America seems very heavy. Our atmosphere feels like a weighted blanket. We're living in times where evil rules and heinous people are exalted as great. His death was wrong. But I just dont care.
We are definitely a "Nation Divided."
