Spring football is all about developing athletes with potential. Someone who's taken advantage of this #UFL platform is @XFLDefenders DE Malik Fisher - he's had a tremendous year.
After not being utilized much last season, @mo3_lyfstyle has burst onto the scene as one of the top linemen in the league. Through 9 weeks, he has:
30 Tackles
6 TFL (T-5th)
6 Sacks (3rd)
3 PBU's
1 FF & 1 FR
Fisher looks like a different player this year - clearly having put in some serious work this offseason. He's faster, has a better feel for the game, and has also been very active with his hands.
One of many UFL athletes who deserves a true NFL opportunity. Malik has earned it with what he's done for DC in 2024. Also, should be in serious consideration for All-UFL awards.
It’s the end of an era on 16th Street. Yesterday, head football coach Chris Stevens ‘83 announced his resignation after 32 years coaching the Knights and 22 years as varsity head coach. The winningest coach in Xavier football history, Coach Stevens led the Knights to four CHSFL championships, five division titles, and nine Turkey Bowl wins during his storied career. We look forward to celebrating him and his remarkable career this spring. For now—thank you, Coach.
