@HolderOfEnd Bryke pinned Korrasamis failings on Nick but in truth they didnt put in the effort to make a working relationship. Nick just made it harder to notice it was a romantic relationship nothing more. Sadly there was no prior relationship in the first place thus it flopped.

@HolderOfEnd All Bryke needed to do was actually have Korra & Asami gain chemistry by actually having Asami contribute to Korras character arc. Nick didnt put restrictions to character development only romance. No relationship is just romance.

@SleiZavier @AvatarNews_ Agreed. Bryke messed up BAD by hyper focusing on Korras negative traits and have her fail repeatedly because they believed stuggles = interesting yet they failed to write Korras positive traits and success that made sense thus making her character horribly unlikeable.

@SleiZavier @AvatarNews_ The saddest thing is the whole LGBT thing was done very poorly in Korra too... Many western cartoons like Owl House, She-Ra Steven Universe and even Adventure Time had LGBT relationships written well and were praised for it. Korra just threw it in without any build up or meaning.

@SleiZavier @AvatarNews_ Its kinda sad really.. They think its purely hated because it had LGBT rep and a female MC but no it was just a poorly written show because Bryke were beginner writters simple as that. Theres tons of badly written shows Bryke just needed more planning and experience.

@GermanNerd1990 Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but might i ask why do you think LoK is "far better" then ATLA? Just cuz most peeps who really like LoK just say they "like" LoK better but to flat out say it was a much better show is super controversial so just curious on why.

@TimHickson1 In terms of Korras character arc i felt it had alot of potential but got dismantled by three very crummy scenes (S1 ending S2 ending and S4 Midpoint) The writers were focusing too hard on making Korra stuggle that they didnt end up showing progress of overcoming said stuggle

@TimHickson1 Ive had a ton of ideas about rewriting season one so id love to see your takes on it compared to mine! I have a much more negative outlook on the show compared to you (Like many lol) but i still find some of your points very informative about what criticisms are valid.

@coolb_art Last thing. You say that all dubbed in corny but what if i told you alot of people in japan dislike anime because it was corny? Hayao Miyazaki said that anime creators dont understand what real people are like due to anime never depicting real life just unrealistic otaku culture

@coolb_art Basically it comes down to you being an elitest, that japanese VAs can be good and bad like english ones, you not understanding japanese to critisize its voice acting, and that bad dubs are the product of lack of funds/planning to pay for skilled VAs and translators
