@AdamGoetz_@felixleezd Visual design is immediately gratifying. it’s easy to consume, judge, and react to in a few seconds. Real product and problem solving? It’s contextual, messy, extensive, hard and often only makes sense with a story. Who to blame? The design community who react only to visuals.
@DarkagePossum @floridanow1@elonmusk "People without resources have children with the faith that they will make out, and they do". No, people without resources have little to no access to birth control, which increases the rate a lot.
@arvsrn@El_estatal The inputs only have placeholders as labels, which have numerous issues, from failing contrast, to screen readers often reading them badly, when they are placed inside. More info on it: https://t.co/W4xzJG6oLH
@SuperBox64@asallen Because it did not have time yet to learn for free from every designer, company that is glazing this Generate AI thing. So it can't rip off anybody else just yet.
@oykun That's my initial thought. It's so glazed, that talking with actual users, doing tests, exploring, iterating, truly understanding the problem, the need and how to execute it will be pushed to the back. Instead - let AI solve it, producing mass, below average digital cookie cutter
@pwnies In the physical mass market, quality declined rapidly over the past decade. With Figma AI, I see the same trend: less real interaction with your users, AI-driven decisions, cookie-cutter UIs, and lower digital quality products becoming the norm, because "ship with ai fast".
@novikoff Never did it in the first place. Oh, and never had any issues regarding it not being done in any of the hand-off phases or any later phases that involved other team members. There's more important things to focus.
