Casey sleeping outside even after being mugged off, meanwhile Ron is still wanting to spoon with Tanyel 😂 aww Lana, you silly, silly girl 🤡 #LoveIsland
People aren't waiting 40 hours for an ambulance because of a one-day strike by paramedics. They're waiting 40 hours for an ambulance because the Tories running down the NHS, week in, week out.
🚨The wealthiest prime minister in British history — someone with 2x the wealth of King Charles — is denying a living wage to nurses having to visit food banks after their heroic pandemic service. That's just plain wrong.

Dear British Press,
There is nothing in Prince Harry’s autobiography as scandalous as the implosion of our NHS.
So please report on the things which are actually important
Thanks

The NHS would collapse without the enormous discretionary effort of staff who stay late, slog on, go the extra mile, over & over again for our patients - because we care & we cannot bear to let them down.
Is this what you're actually trying to achieve, @stevebarclay? 🤷♀️
Hi 👋 NHS mental health doc here. Whenever I work in Emergency Psychiatry & I see what the paramedics have to do I always, without exception, am concerned about the tremendous strain it places on their mental health. Paramedics deserve more support, more respect & better pay.
Imagine being sent to a fit & healthy 30 year old with a cold who’s is MORE than capable of self managing at home, whilst an 80 year old with clear evidence of a stroke is still waiting for an ambulance 6hrs later 🙃 and people are wondering where we are going wrong.
You hear all about ‘winter pressures’. What you don’t hear is how this has been our new normal for months. This video was back in June, and it’s only gotten worse since then. Tomorrow if you’re asking yourself why we are striking, this is why.
Why are paramedics on strike?
📉Real pay down £6,000 since 2010
🏥Hours-long delays at hospital due to lack of beds
😞 53% struggling to cope with demands of their jobs
🚑A third witnessed cases where a patient's death was linked to a delay
RT if you're with them 👊
The time’s come to admit the NHS in England has ceased to function as a proper emergency service. That’s not because of strikes: it’s why there are strikes. It’s failed because of deliberate neglect by a government that has always wanted to privatise it to end free care for all.
Today I will responding to Emergency Calls from the picket line. This situation is more than pay. It’s about the system being broken. We are missing our C1 targets before we even answer the phone. It’s about staff retention, its staff welfare. If it’s an EMERGENCY we will attend
It’s rather soul destroying to keep seeing posts on social media slamming the Ambulance service and NHS when most of us go above and beyond to give the best care to our patients and the a lot of the current happenings are out of our control.
It is pretty clear the #NHS urgent and emergency care system is falling over tonight. Just hours before #AmbulanceStrikes are set to start.
This will be deadly for some. A reminder of what is happening without strikes:
