Ten suspects-nine men and one woman- have been arrested in connection with the murder of 19-year-old Kago Moshole, whose body was found next to the N14 near Ganhaai Village on Monday.

The suspects, aged between 30 and 40, were arrested by Mothibistad SAPS detectives with assistance from the Kuruman K9 Unit.

Nine are from Kagung and one from Ganhaai.

Police also seized a Toyota GD-6 allegedly linked to the crime.

The suspects are additionally facing charges of kidnapping and attempted murder after another person was allegedly assaulted and is receiving medical treatment.

Police say the investigation is continuing and further arrests have not been ruled out.

Authorities have thanked the community for information that helped lead to the arrests.

It is becoming increasingly clear that the Madlanga Commission will not be able to conclude its oral testimony before the end of this month.

If the Commission requires more time to complete its work thoroughly and without compromise, an extension should be granted by the President.

Given the seriousness of the allegations before it and the public interest involved, it is more important to get to the truth than to rush the process.
