@Peter_Fitz Pete, my Old Man turned 80 yesterday. He is still winning Division 1 Club Championships in lawn bowls at Victor Harbor in SA. And he loves your books (I put him on to them 20 years ago 😜). Christmas presents are easy! I still don’t have to make any allowance for his age, so fit!

@Peter_Fitz I'm certainly not trying to be facetious here Peter but I often wonder, why does it take soooo long to count these remaining votes? Is there a mob of vote counters waiting for the Postie to deliver 3 votes each day? Or are they extra meticulous and have 25 people count them?

@SandyHorne61 I probably should use the eye as an ID more often. I tend to go on call with Thornbills. Plus the obvious rump colour as they fly away with some of them. Great photo BTW

@SandyHorne61 Maybe! The photo is near perfect for an ID yet it shows dark eyes.... I always have difficulty getting the eye colour right on small birds, especially when just getting a glimpse through the binoculars. Maybe the Feild Guides are wrong?🤔😆
