@ouranometrian2 There's a balance. Non-typical hobbies aren't the problem. But the kids who wore cat ears and hissed at people needed someone to take a firmer approach with them. Anime seems a common gateway to the ill-mannered, socially stunted sort of weird so it gets the negative attention.
