I’ve no idea what corners of X you’ve been trawling, but it’s not the reality I saw.

When my wife gave birth at Blackpool Victoria Hospital last year after a traumatic emergency c-section, the staff were phenomenal. I had a chair that folded out to a bed when needed, clean sheets, food, and constant support from incredible midwives and nurses. They couldn’t have done more for my wife and I.

Instead of peddling this lazy “anti-dad NHS” culture-war nonsense, maybe try talking to the people who actually work in our hospitals.

The NHS isn’t failing because of “diversity spending”. It’s struggling because of 14 years of cuts, understaffing and neglect.

The people holding it together deserve respect, not cheap shots from Members of Parliament.
