In October the thought of making it to this start line was up in the air. I just had surgery on my Achilles and all the rehab and cross training ahead was daunting and full of uncertainty.
I began taking each week one at a time and celebrating the little victories along the way.
After every race, there are only two questions you need to ask:
1. What worked or went well that was within my control that I want to keep doing or build on?
2. What didn’t work or go well that was within my control that I need to change, and how do I change it?
Thank you to the #Compton community and staff, who have taken the important step of getting vaccinated. Indeed, we are closer to being together again and ending the continued suffering SARS-COVID-2 has wrought in our community. #COVID19
