@Shoonee27 Our games have quite a few similarities (I mean my coin restoration game of course, not the silly cat game ๐). I love where this is going! Looking forward to your game!
@adredev Yeah, when I stumbled upon your tweet earlier today I didn't think for a second that you were just doing some cheap engagement farming. That KORYOS person apparentely can't tell the difference.
@samtechcoded That's something I need to tackle at some point, too... I'm making a cat game after all, so Asia is probably a good potential market to aim for. Not looking forward to this task though ๐
Ugh, optimizing... ๐ I built a nicely looking environment with beautiful lights and details โ and the game ran like crap. Had to reduce the number of cats and do some tweaking, especially with the animations from distant cats. Runs smoothly now. Worth it!

@ericadelic I bet it's gonna get moving once you actually have that Steam page up. As a player I probably wouldn't give away my email address to get a wishlist link at some point in the future.
@ericadelic Yeah, but it's pretty ugly and too boring still. Big construction site that I need to tackle at some point ๐
Do you have anything in your game that you keep ignoring although it desperately needs an overhaul? ๐
Gosh dangit, I missed a spot ๐
Anyway, first gameplay reveal for my upcoming cozy coin restoration game coming to Steam next year๐

@ericadelic It's primarily about antique and modern coins, yeah. You can hunt for them on fleamarkets, in house clearances or at high end auctions and then clean them and sell them or keep them for your collection. I got some other items in the works though like pocket watches. Not sure yet.
@Satior420 I finally got the cat AI to open drawers and jump in. Took me embarrassingly long to get that working ๐
Still got a lot of clipping issues to sort out but at least the cat's doing it now...
@neysegames That's some massive progress! I love these before after pictures... The difference between prototype and almost game ready is so motivating.
This is where I started and where I'm at right now. Man, I love game development! ๐
@pixelteriyaki Same ๐ I got fed up working on my main game for so long the last couple of weeks that I just wanted to mix it up a bit. You know, just a couple of hours, maybe half a day with a side project... 48 hours later I'm completely submerged in it and can't get out ๐
