@LordMedaur@Rudo1518568@Maptysk That happened due to a genetic bottleneck which was avoided by most other groups and it was localized in central Albania during the middle ages. It also explains why medieval Albanians had less Slavic ancestry than modern Albanians but were probably mixed with Romans or Greeks.
@LT2dworl@ilijovskiesq@massedonian You wish. Since you're just spamming me with your chatbot drivel I have no interest in continuing this conversation so have at it.
@LT2dworl@ilijovskiesq@massedonian You were overreaching, even the algorithm you use to do all your thinking was pushing back. But assuming KiΔevo had Albanian influence in that period it would support what I've been saying about expanding Albanian influence from KrujΓ« and environs following the bottleneck.
@LT2dworl@ilijovskiesq@massedonian The language shift coincides with the genetic bottleneck and the haplogroup diversity we observed followed by expansions into Montenegro, Serbia and Macedonia in the later middle ages. This is all well documented and now supported scientifically.
@LT2dworl@ilijovskiesq@massedonian It's called assimilation. If you understood what I was showing you, then you would have seen that there are Serbs and Montenegrins who likely have medieval Albanian ancestry. Otherwise you'd have to say that ancestor of both modern Albanians and Serbs 650 years ago was a Serb.
@LT2dworl@ilijovskiesq@massedonian Talking past me shows that what I'm saying doesn't register. I'm looking at precise haplogroups within E-CTS9320 not broad ones like you, showing how they likely originated in Albania in the medieval period and then spread to surrounding regions particularly around the 1400s.
@LT2dworl@ilijovskiesq@massedonian This is meaningless, I showed specific haplogroups that were part of the medieval genetic bottleneck and show a post-medieval founder effect with some descendants identifying as Serbian. What do you think about that? That people you resent descend from medieval central Albanians?
@LT2dworl@ilijovskiesq@massedonian Most modern Albanian ancestry comes from central Albania before 900 AD. Not the Caucasian one but the Albanian presence beyond this area including KiΔevo is later than the Slavic.
@IllyrianLad I haven't come across as many Bulgarians as Albanians in my life but I'd say I prefer them as well. It's nice being neighbors with them but it would be better to get along.
In 279 BC, a vast Celtic army invaded Macedonia, killing its king. Afterwards, some Celts continued to Anatolia, pillaging the region until stopped by the Seleucid king, Antiochus, in 275.
Seemingly, Antiochus was also nearly killed by the Celts. An inscription dated to around when the Celts were defeated honors his personal Physician for treating him after "having been wounded in the neck in the battle."
Remarkable that the Gallic invasion almost killed both the Kings of Macedonia and of the Seleucid Empire.
@MilijaMarkovic@Astur_X It's not exclusive to Albanians it's found in about 20% of Serbs, Macedonians and Bulgarians. It's higher in Albanians because of the medieval bottleneck ca 500-800 AD.
@genti_boy_ks@QuantityG72225@alex_velaj@grok@EtnikKs A professional opinion is still an opinion but like I told you before, good for you that you have scientists and genetic experiments to construct your ancestry since the written material both primary and from observers is lacking.
