Village administrators drawn from Machakos and Kalama sub counties today attended a one day training on Public Participation tools at Machakos DICECE Resource Centre. The workshop was organised by the Directorate of Citizen Engagement in collaboration with @TIKenya.

I taught Sunday School in this church, as a young man, while in Secondary School and High School.

This Saturday morning, I was blessed to attend an event in the church I grew up in - Riruta Baptist Church in Riruta Satelitte, Dagoretti South Constituency, Nairobi County.

This morning H.E @DrAlfredMutua held a wonderful meeting with a team from the Medical College of Wisconsin in the USA led by renown researcher Prof. Leonard Egede to discuss modalities to fight communicable diseases in Machakos county. Cc:@maitha_robert

Machakos residents today received free seeds. Since 2013 our Gov. @DrAlfredMutua has been implementing a comprehensive food security programme under which we avail farmers with subsidized seeds, free chicks and tractors to till their land. Cc @maitha_robert

Excellent news from the #ChicagoMarathon with Brigid Kosgei setting a new women’s world record of 2:14:04 and Lawrence Cherono winning the Men’s race.

I also applaud the @kenyalioness for finishing second in the event and securing a slot in Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
