@AndreaHorwath So disappointed in you & the city that you would let it get to this point and allow so many people to suffer today. The workers, the transit riders, these are real people who will be impacted by this. You’ve lost sight of what is fair for workers and only see a budget line item.
@melansondt@Rogers We’ve been trying to cancel something since November 24th. First time got transferred to several different people all who said they couldn’t do it. Finally got transferred to a French line who hung up on us. That was 2 hours wasted. Since than we’ve spent a combined 6 hours
Sorry neighbour about your missing #Walmart groceries - ground beef, ham, lettuce, milk and margarine. We gifted them to a another neighbour, who was thrilled to have it. We hoped you were able to cobble together a meal with whatever you ended up with. We caved & went out to eat.
To our neighbours who got the other half of our #Walmart groceries. I hope you enjoy our chicken, bacon, yogurt, oat milk, grapes, peppers and whatever else was included. If you haven’t tried oat milk, I hope you take this opportunity to give it a try.
Ah right. The end of Daylight Savings Time. The morning I wake up with a cat paw shoved INSIDE MY MOUTH because cats can only *feel* time, not read clocks, and it is BREAKFAST HOUR!
Our new cat was laying on me and I started talking to my spouse. Didn’t that little bastard gently place his paw on my lips to tell me nicely to shut up so he could sleep.
Last night I was at my peoples house with a few friends and my homegirl with her daugther, 5, who I haven't seen her since she was 3...any way, she told her daughter to give me a hug, and the girl was very shy, I said to the mom don't ever force your child to hug any one.

If the City of Toronto can spend taxpayer dollars on paramilitary operations with hundreds of police to violently evict a small # of people living in the Lamport Stadium encampments…they can also spend taxpayer dollars on providing affordable housing.
we need a fucking breakdown of exactly how much the city of toronto spent with our money to terrorize homeless people. military-like raids, 24/7 surveillance in public spaces, cops who make more than $100K a year, city staff ripping homes apart
Dear Toronto: Please do all you can to not normalize the criminalization of poverty. The oppression of the poor. The attacks on people living in encampments. The use of police force to displace the displaced.
Do not let this become the norm in our city!
#BREAKING: The City of Toronto has surrounded people living in encampments at Lamport Stadium with hundreds of bike cops, cruisers, court wagons, undercover officers & a facial recognition van
RT if you think what the City of Toronto is doing is inhumane
