Highly doubt they have the capacity to recognize what 'high quality' even looks/sounds like.

I'd even say most of them have passed the point of no return. But the brain is malleable, so there's still hope

Telling the average individual to 'stop consuming and start creating' is terrible advice.

The average individuals consumes crap. So, obviously, whatever they create will end up being of the same crappy quality.

Better advice.

Consume quality, then create your own.

Why is self-help such a lucrative niche?

Because very few consumers actually implement the advice they get.

They keep searching for the next shortcut, the next high.

Thus, if you possess even mediocre sales skills, you would do great in this one particular niche.

Become comfortable with silence. When looking to influence others, learn to keep your mouth shut.

It will become slightly uncomfortable and they'll start spilling the beans just to avoid the awkwardness.

Whenever you have to introduce a wacky idea to others, deliver it as a quote:

'I once had a business partner who believed *wacky idea*'

What does this accomplish?

It makes them visualize your wacky idea working, without holding you directly accountable for its wickedness.

One of the most valuable sales skills to develop:

Learn how to present ONE idea in 3 different ways.

Then offer those 3 options as choices the other person can make.

It's the exact same thing, but they think they have a choice. Thus resistance drops.

Stop believing everything you hear/read online.

It's essentially a place where the least experienced give life advice.

And the least accomplished flex the most.

Anybody can say pretty much anything. So keep your guard up.

If you're a copywriter, stop using the word 'Secret'.

It's become a cliche. Everybody uses it. Every guru teaches it.

Readers are picking up on it.

You still want to IMPLY the existence of some secret, but you must call it something else.

Or you risk being flagged as salesy.

Want to help improve society?

Punish hypocrisy and narcissism.

Harshly.

These two traits are massively weighing society down. And most of the problems we face on a daily basis are a direct result of us allowing hypocrites and narcissists to go unpunished.

Impact is what's valuable.

And those who try to make an impact purely by making noise will eventually crumble.

The noise might trick a few people, but everything that revolves solely around noise-making will eventually collapse.

You should forgive those who repent.

That's just plain stupid.
