Comet 2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS) over Auckland's Harbour Bridge. Challenge was to capture it in the most light polluted area. Grabbed my tracker only to find out it wasn't working. Sigh. Resorted to 2.5 second exposures to keep the stars from streaking.

10 years ago today I stood in this freezing lake with leaky waders. Well before some knucklehead broke one of the branches off the lonely tree, will never look the same again.
