The Dobbs decision overruling abortion is extreme, but Republicans justices have been promising to do exactly this.
Now that the Court has issued its decision, the only question for the rest of us is if we will accept it.

I'm sorry everybody.

Just remember... the conservatives always promised to do this. And all the people who told you we were "hysterical" were total liars.

Five dollars says white women will still vote for the GOP in the midterms.

It’s not that they don’t care…

They just don’t care ENOUGH.

$10 says the replies have 30 variations of “not all white women”

They care about that.

If the president can incite a relatively small group of far-right insurrectionists to ignore the law of the land, the will of voters and the Constitution & instead, plot a coup d’état, then why have laws?
Or voting?
Or a Constitution?

I’ve had some people ask if I would make a video about the roe v wade news. I’m not going to. I don’t see the humor, I don’t want to look for the humor. Right now it’s all anger and sadness, so I’ll just be here to support all of you in anger and sadness.

[Michael Harriot @michaelharriot]

GOP: We’re gonna overturn Roe

Dems: But the law of the land…

GOP: but first we’re gonna steal your SCOTUS seat & overturn Roe

Dems: Well…no need to fight! The law of the land says…

GOP: Then we’ll nominate a beer-drinking rapist to overturn Roe

Dems: But the law says…

PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN SHOULD PROMISE TO SEND DOCTORS TO PROVIDE ABORTION SERVICES ON FEDERAL PROPERTY

I just wanna make sure I have this straight:

The people whose “freedoms” & liberties were being attacked by masks & vaccine mandates now support vagina & pregnancy mandates?

Got it.

@GregAbbott_TX Melissa Lucio is scheduled to be executed on April 27 for a crime that never occurred. Please grant Ms. Lucio clemency and prevent an irreversible injustice. #SaveMelissaLucio https://t.co/4gFRp4rvQ9

The NYT article by @DLeonhardt falls far short for reasons below AND he concludes masks and distancing didn't do much. How about inadequate public health guidance didn't work? For years, @CDCgov did not clearly tell people to wear good fitting KF94/KN95/N95. These masks (1/4)

A WNBA superstar has been detained in Russia for weeks, and all we know, all we have is questions. I am terrified for Brittney Griner and her family.

DYK Registered Dietitians are required to study: biology, biochem, microbiology, chemistry, organic chemistry, macro and micro metabolism, and food science?

That’s BEFORE we get into the meat of our degree - the medical nutrition therapy, counseling, etc.

Pre-Covid I traveled a ton for work and loved flying. Now I dread flying because of the poor air quality on boarding, takeoff and landing. My aranet looks exactly the same as yours every time I fly. So disappointed in @Delta @united @AmericanAir

[Serena Williams @serenawilliams]

No matter how far we come, we get reminded that it's not enough. This is why I raised $111M for @serenaventures. To support the founders who are overlooked by engrained systems woefully unaware of their biases. Because even I am overlooked. You can do better, @nytimes.

What we need in restaurants is more ventilation (@j_g_allen), but what we got is QR codes. Love @WBahnfleth's suggestion of an air cleaner on each table “like a centerpiece arrangement.” Am thinking about getting a battery-powered one to tote around. https://t.co/r8cFcld4OV
