@ACLU I was passively suicidal at a very young age, taking risks to get my sexual gratification. As a young boy I was sexualy abused and used. Exceptance is the only answer. Our LGBTQ kid's need to be free to be who they are.

@ACLU I am 64 years old. I knew I was gay at age 9. I had to hide my sexual preferences due to religious beliefs, society expectations, and fear of being an outcast. I did not come out until I was in my 40s. Having to deny my true orientation caused me to harm so many people.

@EdKrassen I can not believe some of the posters in this string... I was in the Marines from 1978 to 1993. As an SSgt, I was given classified information on a need to know basis. I would sometimes have rededicate classified documents in folders that I used to do the work and mission.
