Today I saw a mom I know defending her child and her children’s friends against homophobia.

This mom used to staunchly believe that the rainbow flag was an affront to God and strongly opposed rights for same-sex couples.

Hearts and minds can change.

We said a bittersweet goodbye to our “babies” today-they headed back to the farm. What a beautiful school wide experience. Ss wrote many messages of gratitude and “I will miss you” cards that were bundled up and given to the farmer. Godspeed little ones. 💛 @ThornwoodPS
