NEW: OC DA @toddspitzeroc just threw the book at the woman arrested for purposely fatally crushing a puppy with her vehicle in Santa Ana, CA. 75-year-old Hahn Nguyen has now been charged w/ felony animal cruelty and felony animal abuse w/ a felony enhancement for personal use of a weapon.

DA Spitzer is charging these "wobbler" offenses as felonies instead of misdemeanors and the felony enhancement will add potential prison time.

On Thursday, a federal judge ruled that President Trump cannot fire Roger Rogoff, a prosecutor who was appointed by Democrat judges for the Western District of WA (Seattle) after Trump’s pick failed in the Senate.

Judge Bastian also decided that Trump’s replacement nominee, Pete Serrano, must vacate the office and allow Rogoff to take over.
