@emilialo1124@tom_karnes@Duncannedd Hello Emiliano! I think putting funding into computer labs is a great idea. Not many schools can afford to give a Chromebook to each student but a compute lab seems more feasible.
@Mmoreno570823@tom_karnes@doctor2pi@BarnellNicole Hello Manuel! I think if teachers know that some students lack a reliable internet source, they should designate time in class so that students can work on homework and assignments.
@tom_karnes A3) We can make technology more accessible by ensuring that schools provide loanable devices. A barrier that could limit this technology is the lack of internet. #EDTE4200#CSUBTED@doctor2pi
@Jimbo_edte4200 @doctor2pi@Duncannedd Hello Jim! I also believe Google Translate to be a helpful tool but teachers should always be careful when using it since it does not always offer the most accurate translation.
@mslopez99@doctor2pi Hello Briana! I have used Duolingo myself and it is very interactive. I think it is best to use interactive and engaging apps such as this one to really reach students.
@doctor2pi A2) One app that could benefit ELLs is Duolingo. It offers interactive lessons and exercises to improve language skills in a fun and engaging way. It covers vocab, grammar, and speaking. #EDTE4200#CSUBTED@doctor2pi
@SummerAlex44045@BarnellNicole@doctor2pi Hello Summer! I never had google chat when I was in school but it seems like a great tool to use. It would have been nice to have an easy way to communicate with classmates.
@MrsPG777@BarnellNicole@Ststansberry Hello Priscilla! One of my favorite apps to use in school was Kahoot. It made learning so interactive and fun and it was always great when our teachers participated with us.
@BarnellNicole A) Some great technological tools you can use to build and enhance relationships are educational apps or online platforms such as Kahoot or Google Classroom. These apps engage students, provide personalized feedback, and facilitate collaboration. #EDTE4200#CSUBTED@doctor2pi
So far EDTE 4200 has proven challenging and insightful. I have been able to learn how to best capitalize on technology in my classroom so that students can thrive in their academic journeys. However, navigating through these many tools has been challenging at times.
