@mostly_sleepy@Bethpresswood majority of meds come in bottles here, at least from my experience. the only med I know that regularly comes in the punch out packets is birth control 😂
Ibuprofen discourse is so strange to me bc why would you want to drive to the store when you have a headache or are sick? that's the point of having a bottle of it. so you don't have to go get it.
@duckupine I normally only see packs of 100, which last my family of four over half the year. packs of 500 exist but I've only seen it once before, and that was a friend that had 6 people minimum that lived in their house at a time
a lot of people talking about headaches in the replys but not sickness- ibuprofen is a fever reducer so taking multiple dosages throughout the day while sick is pretty normal imo
@vampylink I think the main difference is how strong each pill is. ours are usually 100mg per pill, so we take two at a time and take two more every 4-6 hours. so that's about 6-8 a day while sick, and sicknesses last up to a week. not saying I personally would take that many myself 1
@mostly_sleepy@Bethpresswood it's available basically everywhere for us. I think a lot of the discourse is from packets vs bottles, bc we also have small bottles of like 10-15 that we can carry around, but also have one larger (100ish)bottle we keep at home for the whole family to use throughout a long time
