This cat won't walk on blankets because he doesn't trust it's solid underneath. He always sits on the arm of a chair or the back of the sofa to get love. This is the first time in 16 years he has got on my lap. ๐
Finally the last stitch is in, and I can now reveal my latest embroidery. I hope you enjoyโฆ Iโm off to stretch and give my hands a rest! ๐๐ชก๐ฟ๐บ
*All completely freehand stitched, no patterns, paint, or guides just plenty of threads.

Breakfast for Bumpy.
He's one of our newest orphans, at our Kaluku Neonate Unit in Tsavo. His mother was killed โ likely defending him in a territorial fight โ and he spent at least a day alone beside her before the Kenya Wildlife Service brought him in.
He's a baby hippo. Hippos start their lives in water and learn to nurse beneath the surface, diving and resurfacing for breath between sips. Bumpy's bottle feeds are easier โ no diving required.
He has a long road ahead. Adopting Bumpy helps fund his milk, his Keepers, and the years of care between now and his return to the wild.

@toady@SueJonesSays Oh totally.
Just saying the pension age change led to a rise in PIP (and DLA) numbers with sickness and disability that come with age, just like the "OMG rocketting PIP and LCWRA!" was actually thousands still being brought over from DLA and ESA every month rather than new ppl.
@tractorgirly@Emma_A_Webb Helen of Troy's father was the god Zeus. He raped her mother while he was disguised a swan. Helen hatched out of an egg.
Does this sound like non-fiction?
@polystitches@thecrimeanalyst@m_scottie57 Through the local people talking to journalists. They'll all know who these boys are and what they have been getting away with; and want to speak out.
But they can't actually be named by the media without a court order, for a fresh start at 18 (every else's safety be damned).
@max_millionair@GodPatriarchy@Machi1Nne YOU said "identical twins can have different fathers".
Everyone makes mistakes, but don't delete it and pretend you said something different.
@sivory20@InspGadgetBlogs PIP Daily Living also has 2 rates and these are the same amounts of money as the Attendance Allowance ones.
With PIP (and DLA) there is the separate Mobility element (made up on 2 rates) if needed.
Labour wants to limit under-22s to only standard Universal Credit no matter their medical condition, and now they're demonising disabled young people who need PIP. It's an absolutely vile form of scapegoating.
